Opportunities for Reducing Regulatory Barriers to New Housing

Last month, our Managing Director Ben Metcalf provided testimony to the United States House Financial Services Committee for a hearing titled “Housing Solutions: Cutting Through Government Red Tape”.  His testimony focused on the critical role that the federal government can play on reducing local regulatory barriers to housing supply and to increasing the use data and data-informed policy making in federal policies and programs.
