Growth, Opportunity, and the Future of California

Thurs, November 12, 5:00 – 7:30pm | City Club of San Francisco

Californians have largely moved beyond debating whether more housing is needed. Now, conversations are focused on how new state leaders can actually create the growth needed to expand opportunity and strengthen communities. One week after the November elections, we’ll gather with leading experts to ask: What does it take to build places where everyone can thrive? What political, institutional, and civic leadership is required to make this future possible?

Our annual colloquium with Terner Labs will bring together leading experts in community-building, equity, housing policy, and political strategy.

Keynote address:

Majora Carter, MacArthur Fellow, Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, and urban revitalization expert

Panel discussion with:

• Addisu Demissie (Future Forward USA)
• Jason Elliott (Versus Solutions)
• Chione Flegal (Housing California)
• David Garcia (Terner Center – Moderator)
