Christina (Christi) Economy is a Research Associate for the Terner Center for Housing Innovation. Her research explores housing affordability and access, with a focus on rental subsidies, homelessness prevention, and “housing plus” approaches that provide holistic family-centered support.
Prior to joining the Terner Center, Christi held research roles with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Government Performance Lab and the University of Oxford’s Government Outcomes Lab. Christi also has experience working directly with local governments to design and implement support services for low-income families with young children.
Christi holds a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Oxford, a master’s in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
