Haley Tiu is a data scientist-turned policy wonk specializing in housing policy and economics. Haley studied statistics and Chinese at UC Berkeley as an undergraduate student, then went on to work as a data scientist for five years–first at Beghou Consulting and then at McKinsey & Co. Haley recently graduated from the Goldman School of Public Policy, where she focused on policy issues related to housing and climate change, aiming to analyze these issues from an economic and quantitative perspective. Haley joined the Terner team after working with the Data Lab as the Graduate Student Fellow.
