Terner Center Announces First Webinar in a Series

Join the Terner Center on May 24th from 12-1:30pm PT for a webinar titled Making It Pencil: the Math Behind Bay Area Development.

As part of our ongoing Cost of Building Housing Research Series, the Terner Center is launching a webinar series to provide a forum for in-depth and interactive exploration of our work on rising development costs.

Our first webinar, Making It Pencil: The Math Behind Bay Area Housing Development, will focus on the challenges that Bay Area developers face in producing housing, and discuss some of the commonly misunderstood realities behind the economics of housing development.

The webinar will begin with a presentation from our team exploring some of our research on this issue, followed by a panel discussion with industry leaders and a Q&A with webinar participants.
